Optimising Lead Generation for
No Gap Surgery

No Gap Surgery was established as the “other side” of Self Pay Surgery, designed specifically for Silver or Gold-tier health fund contributors. This model aimed to provide patients with hip or knee replacements in a private hospital with no out-of-pocket costs for surgery, thanks to strategic partnerships with Australian private health insurers.

The Challenge:
Before our intervention, No Gap Surgery faced significant roadblocks, including:
  1. Outdated Website & Poor Lead Generation – The original site was built on an outdated Craft CMS and failed to generate a single lead in over eight months.
  2. Lack of CRM Integration – No system was in place to capture, track, or automate patient inquiries and follow-ups.
  3. Limited Marketing Attribution – The client had no way to track conversions or measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  4. Unoptimised User Experience – The previous contact form did not function properly, creating friction in the patient inquiry process.
  5. Need for Seamless Partner Integration – The business required a scalable solution to align with its partnerships with HCF, Medibank Private, and NIB.
Objective:
Our goal was to transform No Gap Surgery into a highly efficient, lead-generating digital platform by:
  • Building a High-Performance Website – Creating a fully optimised WordPress site with seamless lead capture.
  • Implementing a CRM System – Enabling automated follow-ups and tracking patient journeys.
  • Enhancing Marketing Attribution – Setting up proper analytics and conversion tracking.
  • Streamlining the Patient Experience – Making the inquiry and booking process as simple as possible.
Our Approach
To achieve these objectives, we deployed a multi-faceted digital strategy:

1. Website Development & Optimisation

  • Designed and built a new self-hosted WordPress website with managed hosting via WPEngine.
  • Minimised plugin usage to ensure optimal site speed and performance.
  • Embedded a customised contact form to streamline patient inquiries and data collection.

2. CRM Integration & Automation

  • Created a HubSpot CRM account incorporating Marketing and Sales Hubs.
  • Automated lead management via HubSpot workflows, sending relevant brochures upon form submission.
  • Enabled real-time tracking of patient interactions and follow-ups.

3. Advanced Analytics & Conversion Tracking

  • Configured Google Tag Manager to manage conversions across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads.
  • Developed a Proverr Performance Dashboard, integrating:
    • HubSpot contact data
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Ads & Meta Ads
    • Google My Business insights

  • Massive Lead Generation Turnaround – The website, which had generated zero leads in 8 months, was transformed into a high-performing lead-generation tool.
  • Significant SEO Growth – The new WordPress website saw a year-over-year increase in organic traffic (X% increase).
  • Full Digital Marketing Attribution – Conversions from Google and Meta Ads are now fully tracked and displayed on a centralised dashboard.
